DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL RATE TABLES  

1. From the eSolutions Website website, navigate to Data Services, then click Rate Tables for Point.

 

2. Locate the table you want to add to Point and click on it.

 

3. Click Save.

 

4. If you're saving a .TLR or .TLP (title) table, save to the title folder under PNTTEMPL, located at the root of your C: drive.

 

5. If you're saving a .ELR or .ELP (title) table, save to the escrow folder under PNTTEMPL, located at the root of your C: drive.

 

6. Confirm installation of tables by opening the Initial Fees Worksheet for your order.

 

7. To confirm table for Escrow fees, go to line 1101.

8. Click Table.

9. To confirm table for Title fees, go to line 1108.

10. Click Table.

 

 

 

11. Table installation confirmed.

12. Click OK.

THIS COMPLETES THE RATE TABLE INSTALLATION PROCESS.

 

CONFIGURE POINT TO ACCESS RATE TABLES FROM A NETWORK FILE SHARE

In a larger office utlizing File Share technology, it may be simpler to manage access to Point Rate Tables stored on a network, rather than installing the same tables to each and every workstation. The following steps detail how to configure Calyx Point to pull Rate Tables from the Network rather than the default location on a computer's C:\ drive. To leverage the advantages of accessing Point Rate Tables on a network file share, the following steps must be performed on each workstation with Calyx Point already installed. INTRODUCTION TO POINT ADMINISTRATOR

Calyx Point provides a configuration tool called Point Administrator that allows customized installation of template and data files for use on an office network. Typically used by Network and System Administrations in your company, the following instructions provide a brief explanation of how to change the default location of templates and rate tables shared in the same office.

OPENING POINT ADMINISTRATOR  

1. Click the Windows START button

2. Select Programs

3. Select Calyx Software

4. Select and Click Point Administrator

 

5. The Point Administrator panel opens.

 

MAKING CHANGES TO THE DEFAULT LOCATION OF YOUR RATE TABLES  

6. Click Change Template Directory

 

 

 

7. Note the Current Template Folder Location (C:\PNTTEMPL)

8. Click the Browse button.

 

 

9. The Browse for Folder dialogue opens.

 

 

 

10. Select the new template location.

NOTE: The new location must contain a folder called PNTTEMPL. Within PNTTEMPL should be two folders called title and escrow. These folders will store the Rate Tables accessible to all authorized users of the network. Be sure to load the tables needed by your office by following the steps outlined under "Download and Install Rate Tables to your Computer"

 

 

11. Select the PNTTEMPL folder.

12. Click OK

 

13. Confirm the new Current Template Folder Location.

14. Click OK.

 

15. Click OK to acknowledge the successful change.

 

16. Click Exit.
